We are seeking a customer oriented and motivated Engineer to join our project team in our Headquarters in Zug.

Field Engineer

Supported by a professional team of Project Managers and Engineers you will be working on a variety of client sites across EMEA. You will be responsible for the correct installation, commissioning and clean-up of equipments within time and quality in the context of customer implementation projects. Being the technical expert on device and system level you are able to identify and troubleshoot all issues in the field and in the context with devices. With your deep knowledge in communications technologies you qualify problems to suggest and implement necessary improvements. You will be also the lead Engineer with responsibility for job execution, overall performance and service and provide technical expertise to other EMEA organisations and third party representatives. Furthermore you will be responsible for providing trainings for device installation and service topics for internal and external customers as well for the lead and support of other field service engineers within the field service community.

To be successful for this role you will have:

• qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or as a Electrical Technician
• relevant service discipline experience, preferably from R&D, IT or Communication
• experience in testing (define cases, create documents, execution etc.)
• knowledge in communications technologies (2G/3G, PLC, ZigBee, RF, Ethernet...)
• the ability to work autonomously and likes to travel frequently
• good computer skills including Microsoft tools (Win XP, all office tools etc.)
• excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• very good German and English skills
