One smart metering solution for all customers
Syd Energi was the first Danish energy company to implement AMM solution to all its customers. The decision making was based on thorough Cost Benefit Analysis which clearly showed that full scale AMM is the right tool to enhance processes and improve customer service.
The delivery included the system software, metering and communication devices, deployment support as well as integration of the AMM system into the other utility information systems.
The communication solution is based on integrated meters that utilize electricity network, LV PLC and GPRS for data transfer. The system technology is the most comprehensive combination of devices and programs optimized for the gathering and transfer of metering information in the Nordic market.
Two-way integration
One important part in well-functioning AMM is complete integration between AMM system and all other systems the energy company has. Integration enables smooth information flow between systems, improving process efficiency and of course customer service. Syd Energi understood this and has now successfully integrated customer information handling system with AIM. Integration was done in good cooperation between the supplier and Sonlinc by using Landis+Gyr‘s unique integration platform AIMIA. AIMIA connects AMM system to the energy company's other IT-systems like customer information or billing systems.
