Zug, Switzerland - December 13, 2010 – Landis+Gyr, the global leader in energy management solutions, will supply ORES with its Gridstream solution, which includes software, the AIM system that runs on PLC technology as well as 1250 smart meters. 250 of these homes will have smart electricity meters as well as smart gas meters- which will use a common communications link from the home to seamlessly send multi-energy data back to the utility. The first phase of the pilot project is due to be complete in Spring 2011, with 100 smart meters installed in the city of Nivelles and a further 100 installed in Marche-en-Famenne.

Zug, Switzerland - 26 November, 2010 - Landis+Gyr, leading provider of smart metering solutions, will enable the migration of the entire customer base of Finnish public utility Kuopio Energy to smart metering by the end of 2013. The deal, which is a turnkey delivery, was signed today in Kuopio, Finland, for the delivery of 50,000 smart electricity meters, the smart metering software Gridstream AIM, as well as installation and project management – all by Landis+Gyr.

Million meter contract for electric, gas smart meters to save British Gas customers more than £200m by 2020
