Overview
Ripple control receivers decode the ripple control signal and carry out the command thanks to the switching of one or several buit-in relays.
Landis+Gyr receivers are extremely reliable and durable. Tariffs, space heaters, water heaters, air conditioners, lighting systems and other applications can be reliably controlled – anywhere and any time.
Ripple Control Receivers Enermet RO
The perfect receiver solution for all applications - suitable for all Ripple Control Systems

Enermet RO3: the universal ripple control receiver
The Enermet RO3 can be equipped with up to three plug-in 24A changeover switches or 40 A on/off switches. Any combination of the two switch types can be used. This receiver is well suited to tariff and load switching applications.
Enermet RO5: the compact ripple control receiver
Built in the same housing as the Enermet RO3, the Enermet RO5 is the most compact receiver with up to five plug-in 16A changeover switches. It provides an efficient solution for a large variety of applications.
Enermet RO3S and RO5S: the ripple control receivers with advanced plug-in EEPROM ROE
The Enermet ROS types are the appropriate solution for customers who prefer to program their receivers with plug-in devices. The complete receiver data can be stored in the EEPROM Enermet ROE. The ROE can be programmed at our factory or by the customer using the Enermet ROG gang programmer.
Enermet ROA: the ripple control receiver for outdoor use
The A type of receivers is derived from the standard Enermet RO family and has an extremely robust, fully close UL-compliant housing. ROA receivers are well suited to outdoor use and harsh environment. They are available as ROA3, ROA3S, ROA5 and ROA5S.
Enermet ROP: the programming software for the Enermet RO Receivers
Enermet ROP is the programming tool for the programming and configuration of the complete function range of RO and RM receivers. Enermet ROP runs under Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista as well as earlier Windows version.
Enermet ROH: the portable programming device for Enermet RO Receivers
The handy Enermet ROH is built for outdoor use and is absolutely crash proof. Configuration is done via the Enermet ROP programming software.
Enermet ROPmobile: the field programming application suited to PDAs
Enermet ROPmobile is a software application that can be installed on any PDA running Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003, 2003 Second Edition 5 or 6. ROPmobile allows field staff to complete maintenance and programming activities on any Enermet RO Receivers.
Landis+Gyr RCR and FTU Ripple Control Receivers
Intelligent combination of ripple control and timers

Audio frequency ripple control is a mature and reasonably priced technology for rate and load control. The ripple control receiver from Landis+Gyr covers a broad area of applications: from simple relay remote switching up to individually parametrisable receivers for active marketing strategies in a liberalised market.
Static or dynamic consumer switching
The ripple control receivers from Landis+Gyr support three different function concepts, depending on the model:
- BASIC for simple remote switching functions
- CHRONO with a 7-day time switch, weekday preview for balancing the transmission system, and learn functions for independent execution during transmission failures
- POWER RIPPLE with yearly time switch, remote parametrisation and time-independent, autonomous switch
Up to six relays
The integration of ripple control and time switch functions in one device offers a unique flexibility. Depending on the device model, up to six outputs can be individually set and interpreter programs allow any allocation of command and address to the relays.
Parametrisation with PC software
Defining receiver activity (CHRONO, POWER RIPPLE) is simply done with the RPT01 software. Up to 16 programs can run parallel, four of them with random time functions. Data exchange takes place via an infrared interface (CHRONO) or by remote parametrisation using the SEMAGYR transfer protocol.
Quick reaction for peak loads
Fast and reliable ripple control not only helps to reduce operating costs, it also supports the energy provider by ensuring energy provision quality. Precisely when a very short reaction time is needed, e.g., in case of a drop in network frequency, then the immediate load reduction by ripple control (load shedding) is the quickest, most effective and least expensive means of ensuring the freedom to act.
