Vaasan Sähköverkko, Finland
AMM deployment made easy with service
Finnish utility Vaasan Sähköverkko Oy chose Landis+Gyr’s Advanced Metering Management (AMM) solution to automatically read, control and manage all 62,000 of its customer metering points. The project was carried out as a turnkey delivery, which helped save the utility’s valuable resources and ensured a professional deployment process. The project is now complete and operation of the solution has been handed over to Vaasan Sähköverkko.
Elektro Ljubljana, Slovenia

Powerco, New Zealand
Powerco is New Zealand’s second largest network company delivering energy to 312,000 consumers in the rural heartland of the country’s North Island. The utility serves four provincial cities and some of the world’s most productive sheep, beef, dairy and kiwifruit farms. In May 2009 Powerco placed orders with Landis+Gyr for six large ripple control injections indicating that ripple control will be part of New Zealand’s AMM solution in the future. More injection orders are likely to follow.
Transelectrica, Romania
In 2002 Landis+Gyr was awarded a contract by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The EBRD was financing a metering system for the wholesale electricity market in Romania.
Heilongjiang Power Company
Landis+Gyr has secured its largest industrial, commercial and grid (ICG) meter contract in China. The reputation of the company’s products and services is synonymous with quality – so much so, that a request from the far northeastern corners of the People’s Republic of China was received for a high precision meter that can perform perfectly in extreme sub-zero temperatures.

EOS, Switzerland
For many years, Landis+Gyr has supplied energy systems to Energie Ouest Suisse (EOS). Landis+Gyr and EOS have worked together to replace an old system with a new system which not only satisfies their current needs but prepares them for future targets and allows for faster data transmission. With thanks to a competent work ethic and harmonious collaboration, Landis+Gyr and EOS have successfully completed the project.
Fortum Power and Heat, Finland
Finnish utility Fortum Power and Heat has completed the implementation of a Landis+Gyr Advanced Metering Management (AMM) system in the Espoo city area in Finland. The solution covers all of the utility’s heat metering points in the area. AMM system has brought significant advantages such as improved processes and customer service, and it is also generating considerable cost benefits.
Energi Fyn: Strong partnership for a total solution
Improved operational efficiency, significant cost savings and enhanced customer services were the key benefits for Energi Fyn, one of the leading utilities in Denmark, after implementing a total smart metering solution for all of their 81,000 customers. The state-of-the-art multienergy solution from Landis+Gyr includes electricity, heat and water.
Scottish and Southern (UK): Green meters to go green
Proximity to customers, skill, capabilities, and creative response to specific customer needs have been the success formula in the partnership with British utility Scottish and Southern. As a result, Landis+Gyr, is supplying completely ‘green’ meters to one of its biggest customers to help encourage ‘green thinking’ among end-users.

From the meter to the system and communications, including operation, logistics, testing, installation and implementation: this one-stop-shop offer from Landis+Gyr appealed to E.ON Elnät Sverige. The group ordered an AMM solution with 390,000 metering points and operational services.
