Senior Mechanical Designer (Finland)
As a result of continued growth and expansion in the area of smart metering we are actively recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our world class R&D function. You will be working among our top engineers who have been pioneering breakthrough technologies to help utilities measure electricity – from early mechanical electricity meters to the state-of-the-art smart meters installed today.
Your key responsibilities will include mechanical designing, modelling and modifying of electronics product design. Ensuring high quality level of mechanical parts, you participate on specification phase, design and quality reviews. You will be actively contributing to the creation of a fast paced, high performing team with strong collaboration and continuous improvement processes. Our solutions must work flawlessly from day one which means we need to meet exacting standards in our design, manufacturing, delivery and service. For that reason, we also want you to be passionate about quality, seeking perfection in every product.
We look for people with the skills to design innovative solutions for moving industry forward. We expect that you already have solid expertise in mechanical designing and especially from industrial design of mass production products. Experience from concept level modelling, designing and plastic injection moulding is beneficial. You have experience of using CAD-tools like Creo or Solid Works. Since we work in an international environment we also need you to have fluent English language skills and the ability to prepare good technical documentation.
