Test Designer (Test Automation Testing team) (Finland)
We are looking for a Test Designer to join our Functional Test Automation team, part of world class R&D function.
Your key responsibilities will include test case design based on requirements and specifications. Testing of embedded application in latest releases of different E-metering device products from Landis+Gyr portfolio is part of your work. By using high-end test methods you execute functional and non-functional validations including manual testing, utilizing test automation and network protocol analyzers, R&D tools etc.
We wish you to have widely gained experience working in device testing and you are familiar with Agile methods. You may have knowledge of C/C++/C# /PHP/Python etc. as a part of your expertise – familiarity with electronics is a plus. You have the right attitude and technical skills for learning new technologies and mining for new approaches to enhance test case schemes in various ways. You are familiar with basic wireless technologies and maybe also with information security testing. You understand control systems and continuous integration process. Knowledge of server environments (Windows, Linux, virtual / client server solutions) is considered beneficial. You hold B.Sc. or M.Sc. in SW engineering or another relevant field. As we work in an international environment you communicate fluently in English both spoken and written, and have ability to prepare good technical documentation.
