Firmware Designer (Finland)
As a result of continued growth and expansion in the area of smart metering we are actively recruiting for Firmware Designer to join our world class R&D function. You will be working among our top engineers who have been pioneering breakthrough technologies to help utilities measure electricity – from early mechanical electricity meters to the state-of-the-art smart meters installed today.
Your key responsibilities will include writing, modifying and debugging of embedded software for electronics products and ensuring quality, customer focused solutions are achieved and maintained in a timely manner with ongoing testing and test automation. You will be actively contributing to the creation of a fast paced, high performing team with strong collaboration and continuous improvement processes, code execution and feature development. Our solutions must work flawlessly from day one which means we need to meet exacting standards in our design, manufacturing, delivery and service. For that reason, we also want you to be passionate about quality, seeking perfection in every product.
We wish you to have experience from embedded Linux kernel. Web security knowledge of embedded webserver is also desired. You have knowhow of test automation (e.g. Robot framework). Familiarity in BSP, also in bootloader development and maintenance is an advantage. Since we work in an international environment we also need you to have fluent English language skills and the ability to prepare good technical documentation. We are actively developing testing methods so we would also welcome your experience of using and developing (automated) testing tools.
