Office Assistant (male/female)

Location: Prague

Landis+Gyr is looking for an organized, enthusiastic Office Assistant to help us run things efficiently in our SSC office in Prague. As Office Assistant you will join a busy, motivated team and assist in the accounts function of the business and general office duties. Our Office Manager will support you and will coordinate your daily tasks.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and who is able to work on his/her own initiative, while at the same time have the willingness to learn. In return you will be given a fantastic opportunity to work and grow with a progressive company.

What will be your responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance of office supplies (procuring, receiving, and tracking resources);
  • Help with organization and coordination of all travel arrangements, both domestic and international with a cost-effective approach
  • Administration of mobile phones agenda (purchase, delivery, distribution, administration, communication with provider and invoicing)
  • Daily maintenance of the office environment (replenishment of hygienic stuff, minor or emergency repairs, preparation of meeting rooms..)
  • Coordination of office equipment purchase, delivery and solving potential claims
  • Onboarding preparation (refreshments, office equipment etc.)
  • Errands – refreshment, parking, ad hoc tasks
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.
  • Oversee daily office tidiness and organization to ensure a pleasing and welcoming environment.
  • Supporting in planning in-house or off-site activities and events
  • Administration of basic employees´ data in internal systems

What we expect

  • 0-1 years of administrative, office management experience is an advantage
  • Customer service-oriented person, flexible, proactive, multi-tasker, and problem-solver with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the capacity to build positive working relationships across function and seniority level
  • The ability to manage conflicting priorities and changing environment
  • Very good written and verbal communication
  • Fluent English
