AMM System Basics

This course is designed for new employees of utilities, who want to have an overview about all the AMM (Advanced Metering Management) systems, modules, tools and functions. In this course they learn all the AMM related terminologies, how a meter communicates with an AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system. Participants will also see how an AMM system is constructed and how the different system components interact together. Finally participants learn to operate with an already running system, they readout meter and export the values to a billing system.
Participants are familiar with the concepts and the elements of an AMM system. They know the different communication types and are able to readout meters over this different Com channels. Participants are able to readout meter data and export them to a billing system.
